Wicked good! Rich and malty with a creamy body. Weighing in at an 8ABV, drank one and put another in the basement. I will buy more to drink too!

Moat Mountain Blueberry "limited release"
Gross!!! For those that like Shipyard's Applehead and Pumpkinhead. Same body and consistentcy of those ales but with a syrupy blueberry. No blueberry tartness here just blah! I don't mind Pumpkinhead once in a while but I couldn't finish one glass of this. I will use it for blueberry muffins.

Folklore
From Stillwater Artisinal Brewery. A dark rich beer, strong coffee flavor up front, mellows out with a distinctly Belgian yeast at the finish. For those who have tried Allagash Black think of that with coffee. A dark head. 8.4 ABV, so expect some kick after you finish a bottle.

BOOM!
A Czech "imperial" pilsner. In at 8.5, you don't taste all that alcohol in such a light beer. Head big and white. The body is smooth, not as crisp as an American pils wicked good though. I haven't had a pilsner this strong before and I loved this one. I know Downeast has it. Low price at under 4.00 a bottle.

Boogoop
Strange name for an awesome ale. A collaboration between Mikkeller and Three Floyd's breweries. Brewed with buckwheat! Coming in at 10.5 ABV a strong ale not overly sweet. Dark rich amber in color, a floral citrus hop aroma comes with the pour. Hops comes out first, a malty flavor with a hint of pepper. I was excited to hear about an ale brewed with buckwheat and this didn't disappoint!

Saranac Lake Effect Lager
A darker amber than most American lagers, more malty in flavor and body. Most lagers have a "creaminess" to their body that is not as distinct here. Easily drinkable, low ABV I would put it around a low 4 or mid three.
