Not only is the label badass but this beer is awesome. I am a big fan of Rye in brews. This doesn't disappoint. Dark amber in color, not overly hopped. To me Rye imparts an earthy sometimes black pepper flavor. I find that here. It is almost off shelves now so pick some up if you can. I know I will.
You're spot on. The first descriptor most cocktailians use to describe rye whiskey is "spicy".
