Other Stuff

So many of you know I don't just love beer but I am a "font of useless information" concerning alcohol in general.  I recently tried the new local artisan distillery (New England  Distillery http://www.newenglanddistilling.com/spirits/gin/) gin called Ingenium.  I tried it neat, it had a distinct flavor of Tequila to me.  The tell-tale flavor of juniper, that to me marks Gin as Gin, was not overly present.  I was disappointed to say the least.  I will try this gin again, I will not give up.  I love to support new local industry, especially in the form of alcohol. Hopefully I can like this gin as much as I love Cold River Gin (I drool just thinking of it).
